What Firmus is

Firmus is a personal discipline app: you set goals, log reps, and share progress with a small crew of people you invite. It is made by an individual developer, not a company.

What we collect

Your email address and password (used only to sign you in). The name you choose for your crew. Your goals, reps, notes, photos, day closures, reactions, comments and reflections. Your phone's time zone, so reminders arrive at the right local time. A push notification token, if you allow notifications. Basic crash reports (device model, app version, and the error) when the app fails.

Who can see what

Goals marked Private, your nightly reflections, your 'why' and your quit reasons are visible only to you; the server enforces this. Goals marked Crew, your day cards, photos, reactions and comments are visible to the members of your crew and nobody else. Goals marked Partner are visible to you and the one partner you choose. There are no public profiles and no search.

Where it lives

Your data is stored on servers run by Supabase, protected by row-level security so that each person can only read what the rules above allow. Photos are stored in a private bucket and are only served to signed-in crew members.

What we never do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your photos for anything except showing them to you and your crew.

Notifications

Reminders, evening nudges, weekly recaps and milestone messages are sent through Expo's push service using your push token. You can turn every one of them off in Settings or in your phone's notification settings.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete my account removes your account, goals, reps, photos, comments and reactions immediately and permanently. If you own a crew with other members, the crew passes to the longest-standing member; otherwise it is deleted with you.

Children

Firmus is not intended for people under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you the next time you open it.
